For the third game in my solo challenge I chose the play the game Canopy . Designed by Tim Eisner, and published by Weird City Games. 2021

The next game I chose to play in my solo challenge was Welcome To Your Perfect Home . Designed by Benoit Turpin, and published by Blue Cocker Games. 2018

In my game collection I have numerous games that can be played solo and I've set myself a challenge to play 30 of them in the shortest amount of time that I can manage.

 Another one of my passions is board games, or rather getting together with friends to play board games. Unfortunately that is not always possible and so when I have a hankering to play a game and no friends are available I will turn to playing solo, and fortunately I have numerous options to choose from.

 Here's a list of all the brewing I've done in the last 5 years starting with the current year, and in the order I brewed them during each year..

 Just brewed a winter seasonal dark amber beer with semi-sweet chocolate, chocolate malt, molasses, and some vanilla extract. I call it a dark amber because I predict that it will finish darker than a regular amber. Since the definition of an amber relates in some ways to its colour I wonder if a dark amber is in fact an amber at all. At any rate I am now considering whether to add any more spices. I plan to add some cacao nibs to add more depth to the chocolate flavours present, and to further holidayify the beer I may add some other traditional holiday spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and all spice. I've had mixed results with spices in my beer so I don't want to again become over zealous with the amount used, and as a result produce an inferior brew.
